Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 (edited) I think I will watch Lyon v Real Madrid. so guaranteed crap game that - I suggest no one else bothers with it Then we have Manc U playing Glasgow Ceptic, can't think of a more unappealing game, 2 teams I can't stand. Then we have Hambuger Yum v Arsenal And some other games. OK, now I looked, here are the actual games: Group EDynamo Kiev 0-0 Steaua BucurestiLyon 0-0 Real Madrid Group FFC Copenhagen 0-0 BenficaMan Utd 0-0 Celtic Group GFC Porto 0-0 CSKA MoscowHamburg 0-0 Arsenal Group HAC Milan 0-0 AEK AthensAnderlecht 0-0 Lille Edited September 13, 2006 by Benitez
Andy @ Allerton Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Always enjoy watch the Mancs getting injured. I'll do something else and have that on in the background in case the world of football gets lucky and Waynes leg falls off or something Alex Ferguson doing in the interview there - totally drunk Said something about Whiskey and Dark alleys and brown paper bags. f*** me - that Sky Boxing Ring thing is a bit f***ing sad.
Falconhoof Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Hamburg have made quite a few signings lately, will be interesting to see if they are putting a good team together. Would love to see Celtic do well but I can see them getting walloped.
Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 aye, I fully expect Celtic to get a tonking, they are a pretty pish poor side. Just got the Lyon 'pre-match' bollorcks on now, and they are well pumped up GH looks very well an all which is good to see. Be interesting to see how Diarra does for Real Madrid! The Liverpool Lyon Diarra is on the bench. Jose Reyes is on the bench for Real Madrid.
Guest RedLegend Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Mon the hoops! Think they'll get pasted though unfortunately.
Crazy Horse Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Let's hope for lots of career-ending injuries to both sides at Old Trafford...
Andy @ Allerton Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I can't see Celtic winning 4-0 tonight, four Monkey players booked and five injured - with Ferguson banned from the bench for life
Andy @ Allerton Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 f*** me Graveson is utterly s****
Bootle Buck Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Graveson's control and passing is non-existant. 75th minute and I finally heard the "16 million pound man's" name.
CarraLegend Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Graveson's control and passing is non-existant. He's s**** thats why. He was only good for about 4 months in his 4 years at the blues****.
Mike Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 i hate gravesen with a passionthe most over rated player in football.he was shown up for what he is at madrid, he was a total embarassment there.
Bootle Buck Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I would love to see the stats on how many times he has passed to a Manc player.
Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Milan 3-0 up now, Ricardo Kakakakakakakaka with the peno
Andy @ Allerton Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Yet another clear corner to Celtic not given The replay clearly showed this and Andy Gray once again refuses to admit he was wrong and pretends it came off the attacker. He is a knob
DonRafa Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 He's s**** thats why. He was only good for about 4 months in his 4 years at the blues****. Souness was waxing lyrical about him before the game - 'nuff said
CarraLegend Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Souness was waxing lyrical about him before the game - 'nuff said If that aint the mockers then nothing is.
Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Souness was waxing lyrical about him before the game - 'nuff said If he was still at Newcastle, he'd have gazumped Celtic with a twelvty million bid for him.
CarraLegend Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Good play from Gravesen who finds Rooney to set up an attack. Must think he's still a blues****, poor bloke.
Bootle Buck Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Paul Telfer has hit two piss poor back passes and headed against his own woodwork since he came on . Some things never change. Nakamura is a good little player
Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 there should be rules about such crap as Paul Telfer playing in the Champions League, it just isn't right!
Snookie Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Is anyone watching the Arsenal game? The Hamburg crowd are wonderful. 2-0 down and they are still singing their hearts out. The put any crowd in this part of the world to shame.
Mike Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Nakamura is a good little player he looks class. too good for celtic.
Bootle Buck Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 O'Shea takes down Graveson as he was about to pass to a Manc player for the 63rd time in the game.
Benitez Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 (edited) Lyon still looking very comfortable v's Real Madrid. I love how Lyon have sold Essien and Diarra for a combined fee of over 40 million, yet still look really good in midfield with Juninho and young Jeremy Toulalan, who's looked very composed. And now Diarra booked for diving, just sums up his night. It really was an awful dive. Edited September 13, 2006 by Benitez
Snookie Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 (edited) 2-1 - Goal for Hamburg. Totally deserved goal but Arsenal win the game. Edited September 13, 2006 by snookiejane
