BBC R4 this morning..

 

At 7.30 they had the Celtic chief exec wittering on about a UK FA and "the quality of the entertainment and football improving both sides of the border" if Scottish and English clubs were under the same association

 

And at 8.30, Sir Bobby Charlton was wittering on about the great history between the 2 clubs. "They won it in 1967, we won it in 1968".

 

 

Personally, I could give a fig and really hope the Celtic fans sing YNWA til their lungs hurt .

its comical. Scottish football is bobbins, their teams in Europe regularly get thumped, Celtic have never managed an away point in the champions league yet think they are a European super power, they;ll probably get hammered out of sight tonight anyway. i'm surprised Booby Charlton has time to be on the radio. i hear demand for tickets is sky high, i'd have thought the t** would be stood outside Lou Macari's chipper doing a roaring trade.
