billybunter Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Kuyt and Bellamy up front is looking a great match. The partnership and mutual understanding between the two is really impressive and this is their first game together. Kuyt - i dont know if its because he is f***ing ugly but im beginning to love him. A really exciting player who could start taking a few forumites away from the Xabi fanclub . We have some exciting times ahead with out front line mixing the right amount of aggression, skill, pace and, most importantly, awareness.
Guest Kev Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Bellamy for me, he looks the part. I've never really rated him but he's the one who is winning me over with Kuyt a close second.
Andy-oh-six Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 They have the makings of a great partnership (but as we know with Rafa, he'll not stick with a 'partnership'). Bellamy has the pace to get in behind and down the channels, although Kuyt is no slouch, and both can drop deep and link the play. If anything they over complicated it at times. They seemed happier being unselfish rahter than shooting. If they get more games together they'll start doing some real damage. Especially so if we have a more creative midfield than started the game today.
st.johns Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Bellamy looks a smart forward. Think Gerrard and Alonso will set up many chances for him
Guest Sabre Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Wanted Bellamy to dig one out a couple of times first half. He and Dirk are a great partnership. Love the way Dirk can either hold the ball, or spin and drive at the defence.
