I would love us to try and sign him, watched him again yesterday and he was class. He also has qualitites that our current centre halves dont have, he is quick and reads the game really well. He tends to break up attacks before they have started, a bit like Hansen used to. Just stepping in ahead of the forward to intercept before danger occurs. I also think he would sign for us like a shot, another boyhood red and all that.

We wouldn't be prepared to pay what West Ham would want. Can see him going to Chelsea now Gallas has gone.

I will admit I have not seen much of him mate so its difficult for me to reach a decision on him. How do you rate him?

I only mentioned him cos you seem to have ignored him in your "Himself and Agger would be a terrific CB pairing once carra retires!" comment. Why not Agger and Paletta?

Becuase i cant comment on him as i have not seen enough of him to do so.

Im sure he wouldn't, but thats not exactly a guarantee that he will walk into our first 11 after carra retires. What have you seen of him to make you think he would?

Not saying he will mate and from the bits "n" pieces I've seen I couldn't comment. Again just making a point that he appears to have been overlooked in this thread, nothing else..

Not a fan myself. Typical young English player - way over rated.

Yes they are, both of them.

And West Ham, given Rio's comments over the summer. Plenty United fans none too pleased.

I'd liek to see Aggger play a bit more. I can understand him not being thrown into the derby maelstrom (although, in hindsight, it might have been a good idea), but I think he's shown enough to warrant more starts. When Carra's fully fit, and Riise returns to left back.

he is sh!te, if only woodgate would stay fit, he would be the best center back the country has had in the last 20 years.

I think he's a f***ing c***. And considering we we're quoted something like £10m for him 18 months ago and assuming his price will have risen even more i'd rather eat s*** than pay ridiculou smoney for him. Agger looks far better in my opinion.

right...

why not because elisha says otherwise, why dont you have your own opinion for once. Anton Ferdinand has little or no footballing brain, he was weak at anfield, agger has alot more technique and awareness just needs to bulk up a bit.

Agger looks like a very good player but needs matches to prove it, Ferdinand is a very good player(looks better than his brother to me) who has proven it so far in the PL.

Very happy to have Agger here, be very happy to sign Ferdinand.

P.S. I think Paletta(sp?) could be better than both of them in the long run.

Have you seen much of Paletta?
