Hinckley Utd defender Gadbsy dies

I used to referee a lot at Hinckley's ground years ago before the two Hinkley clubs merged.

this kind of thing seems to be happening with increasing frequency. before foe, i'd maybe heard of one player dying on a pitch. this is something like the third in 6 months

Same thing happened recently in Denmark.

 

Rasmus Green collapsed on the training ground. Dead right away.

 

He left behind a girl friend and a young child.

 

Fortunately the media in Denmark made a big deal out of it and Green's family received great support.

 

Tragic when things like that happen

This type of thing has happened several times in ireland over the past two years. I really hate the term "sudden death syndrome2, just indicates that they really dont know whats happening.
