Nah, that's just what man u and chavski fans say to justify their universal hatred to themselves. They don't like to acknowledge that there are other problems.

 

It's simply not true. For a start we were never hated as much as either of those two, and we were more successful than both of them put together. Also look at Brasil. The most successful national team by far, and probably the only 'foreign' shirt that is universally acceptable to wear by most fans regardless of nationality.

i think its a vote for the second favourite team rather than the most hated one, and as villa are probably the most boring/ unambitious/ average team in the league, not many people would have had them as their second team.
