whats it all about?

 

Why do clubs wait until the last day to sign players?

 

ES said we were in for Neill ages ago and we have waited until now? Is it panic?

 

A lad at work reckons its to save on wages but I cant see that being the reason?

dunno why it's not the day before the season starts either - seems stupid to let it run into the first fortnight of the season
