Agree with all of that. A lot of people on the forum seem to think Middlesbrough are "alright, like" just picking up on the general tone of posts about them, but still haven't forgotten or forgiven the way they acted over that.

 

Hate Steve Gibson and all and hate when the media kept going on about being happy for him that they were in Europe last season.

 

Mancs, Everton, Chelsea and them on the hate list at the moment. Expect that list to grow as the season progresses.

isn't identifying and getting good players a major part of being a good manager?

 

He gets a lot of his players bought for him, once Arnesen and now Comolli seem to pull the strings. Also, the back bone of the team Robinson, King, Carrick, Defoe and Keane were already there when he arrived. Now he's sold Carrick, and although I don't rate him that highly, they really seem to be missing his creativity. I don't think they'll do as well as people hype them up to do.
