I reckon its going be a very good season. Barca of course are excellent, RM should be really competitive this year with Capello, Valencia have bought some very good players, and Sevilla - with our friend Alves - should be up there too, their demolition of Barca showing how well balanced and well amanged they are.

 

Should be interesting.

Reckon Che are a decent bet, I think they will do really well this season. They have spent some hefty dosh this summer and freshened their squad up quite nicely!

Athletico should be interesting to watch too.

 

Made some astute signings during the summer and have a good manager now.

 

Betis could be in trouble losing Jaoquin and Olivera to Milan as well... bit surprised by that one.

It was a well taken goal, I hope he does ok in Valencia, he is still one of my favorite strikers. Even if his time in Liverpool wasn't particularly good.

he was in acres of space for some reason only known to the Betis defence. But it was a great finish, he battered it, really good hit!

Fairly simple really. He was played through, just inside the box with a good bit of space and just had to whack it by the outrushing goalie... which he did.

It was a great hit alright, like he'd suddenly turned back the clock wasn't it.

 

Just from his body language he looks far more confident... early days obviously but he justs seems more 'alert'.

What always baffled me about Moro here - was how sluggish he seemed. It was like he was running through quick sand. Always looked like he was struggling for that cutting edge.

 

It wasn't that he didn't try- cos to his credit, one thing about him - he put the work in. But he always looked so sluggish.

 

But now, all of a sudden, he's alert again. It's kinda strange really!

 

Glad he's had a good start to his season though. Even though it didn't work for him here, he's a player I always liked.

Thought he was gonna be great for us, shame it never worked out.

 

Just don't think he liked it England, never settled and the niggling injuries didn't help. He'll do well at Valencia, should get a lot more time and space on the ball.
