JonShar Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Sounds like a cross btw KK and Shearer. I really don't rate Kevin Kilbane that much to be honest.
Sion Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Gonna be another 2 weeks till we see him again, and vs the thugs who no doubt will be up to their old tricks. I.E kick us to the ground, inflict as many injuries as possible.
allez les rouges Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 i never realised how powerful he looks. he looks a monster with a fine touch. the most impressive part of his game today was that everything he did looked easy. He looked as if he was in complete control without ever exerting himself. i think we have a good'n Gonna be another 2 weeks till we see him again, and vs the thugs who no doubt will be up to their old tricks. I.E kick us to the ground, inflict as many injuries as possible. somehow, i think he can handle himself no matter what the bitters throw at us.
KD07 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I really don't rate Kevin Kilbane that much to be honest. Oh ffs, we're talking about Kevin Kromkamp.
deelavo Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 He looked really strong and attacked the couple of crosses that came his way, where as Crouch would wait for the ball to hit him. Also create a couple of chances for other players and his little ball around the corner for Bellamy's offside goal. A good debut a goal would have been nice.
Cooldude Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 His workrate, movement and touch were amazing. An intelligent player with tremandous physical attributes and a good technique
Sion Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 His BBC interview was good, said his name is KOWT, not Coy-t, and made good sounds about the team, and scoring goals. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/5266230.stm
McBain Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 All our best players so far this season have been the newbies Kuyt looks the business. His hair however does not
owenthomas Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 All our best players so far this season have been the newbieswas thinking the same before.. it bodes well if they can keep it up and improve as the team begins to gel together.. made up with them all..
Guest Garstonite Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Yep, very impressive debut. Shame he couldn't cap it off with a goal, but everything's in place. Very Keegan-esque in his positive running, directness and awareness. Can't wait to see him again.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/5266230.stm Click on the Kuyt interview.. Erm, Dirk C*nt?
Ronnie Whelan Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 His workrate, movement and touch were amazing. An intelligent player with tremandous physical attributes and a good technique He also seemed quite quick for a big man.
Gomez Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/5266230.stm Click on the Kuyt interview.. Erm, Dirk C*nt? Sounded like Derek Count .
Shirohana Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Like someone else said pronounce it Kowt as in nowt. A lot closer to the sound than Kite or coy-t.
DonRafa Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Like someone else said pronounce it Kowt as in nowt. A lot closer to the sound than Kite or coy-t. Yes, in his pc Dirk said that was the closest to the correct prounciation - for native English speakers that is
Skillz Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I don't care what you call him, he's a player. If that is his standard I'm happy. Real happy!!!
Paddy 66 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Good debut and he looks like he is going to be some player.
Guest specialxabi Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Thought it was good how as soon as he came on he was ordering people around, bellamy in particular
lawrie Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 A very good debut he seemed to immediately settle in. Don't know why but I'm in love with him already (and I'm not easily impressed)
DonRafa Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Thought it was good how as soon as he came on he was ordering people around, bellamy in particular Yes, that made me laugh. Not short on confidence is he? Good sign that
Guest redmilky Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Good debut. Comes across as a nice fella so good for the dressing room too i guess.
