Gala last isn't really what you want, but at least its preceded by two home games, which gives us the chance to go there with nothing to play for.

I really envy those who go to Eindhoven and Bordeaux. Both places are really nice and there is plenty to do apart from watching a match. I can take or leave Turkey mind you.

Well, I now have some nice cheap Easyjet flights for the PSV (one night stay) and Bordeaux games (2 nights)

Think I'll give Gala a miss due to the cost...

How do you all know whether we are on the Tuesday or the Wednesday of all these 'Matchdays'?

Because it was posted on the uefa site about an hour ago (ish) and was on SSN as well just before Uefa showed it.

Where is the best place to fly to? Amsterdam is a while away isn't it? Which airports fly to Eindhoven?? Help! :D

Eindhoven is only an hour and half on the train and they leave Amsterdam very regularly throughout the day. Thats what we're doing.

I think that's what we're gonna have to do as well.

Theres probably a few cheap (Well cheapish) flights straight to Eindhoven still but you've got to pop into Amsterdam for a night or two. ;) when the chance comes

Do you think there will be a train back to Amsterdam on the night after the game or should we book somewhere in Eindhoven for the 2nd night?

The last one back is 23.39, bare in mind they're 1hour (Is it?) ahead so the match will finish about 22.40. Depends where the station is really, havent got that far into looking yet. The next one after that is 5.00 which isnt to bad really, just have to get on the booze to pass the time.

Normally the away supporters will be kept in the stadium about 30 minutes.

Ask some arsenal fans (they played psv last year or year before) but iirc away supporters have the option of taking a free train to amsterdam straight from the stadium (stadium is next to train track). If that's the case spending the night in amsterdam is much better as there's so much more to do.

Thats true! There's a special station only for the away supporters right next to the stadium. But I don't know if there's leaving a free train from it straight to Amsterdam.
