Mourinho coming out today and slating UEFA for Chelsea not being seeded was the start of it all but after tonights shocking display how can they win the Premiership nevermind the Champions league?? Ferriera and Bridge just arent good enough and how can anybody take Kalou seriously as a footballer?? Ballack coming in will just make things worse as the midfield will be square. Few chances were created tonight and all this against a team that struggled in the league last season, you have to wonder what the manager is thinking.

Barca,Inter,Madrid or Milan in the draw tomorrow and things will only get worse

feck me, that was the quickest doom prediction I've seen in a long time.

youre on a windup surely.. Kalou is one of the biggest talents.. cant be asked reading the rest

Kalou is s****, i think mourinho wants to prove that he doesn't just win the league because of money and that he can spot a youngster, thats why he went for Kalou and diara, even though that they are not really good enough for a title winning team

to quote a chelsea fan on another forum tonight

And some people think that we dont need tevez. Our weakest department isnt the defence, its attack. Without Sheva I wonder where we would be.

ungrateful Chav f***s....

They're on a slippery slope mate. The players are still not fit and theres an injury crisis/players revolt brewing ...... ;)

Chelsea won't win the league, I'm sure of it.h

Kalou isn't sh*te, he's class. But I wouldn't be surprised if they ruin him like they have done to SWP. In their game against Citeh, he looked like a player with no confidence at all.

Terrible result though. They will miss Gallas big time, him and Makelele have helped cover Terry for years. Wih one off and the other getting old, maybe the press will see how overrated Terry actually is.

played 3 central midfielders and Kalou in midfield last night.

If they keep trying to shoehorn all there central midfield players in at the expense of width they are going to lose a few more away games.

Hardly a crisis, but a big part of their strength was the wingers.

agree with that, mourinho's tried to fix what wasn't broken. or perhaps abramovich has.

shevchenko will still get them loads of points this season simply because he's so good, but i can definitely see a real madrid style implosion on the cards which sees them end up third or so in the league.

kinell! Seriously, change the title of this post, it's embarrassing!

I know how irriated I get when I read/hear about Liverpool's 'poor start to the season' - like was stated on ITV on Tuesday night. It's just madness to even mention the word 'crisis' for pretty much any team after 2 or 3 games!

The only crisis i can see at that club is the fact that they have to play Cudicini until Cech is fit again. That natural space in front of the keeper and behind the two CB's is what caused them the problem last night. Cech and Reina dominate those areas, Cudicini prefers to stay on his line and that cost them last night. I just hope other clubs force that hand.

Chelsea will up there this season. It isn't a crisis, but I think they'll be much harder pushed this time round, hopefully by us.

Everyone is suddenly saying United, but I watched them last night and they've played two dreadful sides so far.

I said in the predictions thread before the season started I thought Charlton would go down and Reading will stay up, and I've seen nothing to change that view.

I think Watford look a better side than Fulham as well, both of United's opponents so far could well go down IMO (yes I know Sheffield Utd could too but first day of the season at their place was a tricky one).

It was of course a tongue in cheek reaction to last nights defeat echoing what was being said on the main forum last weekend when we dropped points :)

I still think Chelsea will win a major competition this year, probably the premiership but they can drop points against s*** teams just like us and it doesnt mean its the end of the world when they do.

Dont think anyone took the post seriously

Personally I'm just worried about the mockers effect.

It's the curse of the forum I'm afraid.

You're joking, aren't you?

He's just been awarded the 'exempt from criticism' card - captain of England.

Obviously that means you'll redouble your efforts though, to make up for it?
