They interviewed one of the management earlier and asked him about the corporate end of things. They've 9,000 corporate seats, some of which go for over £4k a year (I think the cheapest is over £2k). He said they make nearly as much from those 9,000 seats as they did from the entire capacity of Highbury.

Anyone know what kind of layout we plan to have for corporate fans? From what I've seen we don't seem to have the same box set up. Arsenal have boxes with seats at the front in between the two main tiers.

i saw it last night on the EPL preview show, it looks great and there does not appear to be a bad seat in the house.

it will be interesting to see how attendances go after the novelty of the first few games.

There was a thread from an Arsenal forum posted on here after the Bergkamp testimonial, loads of them were sayign it was soulless and they wouldn't be going back. I would have thought they'd be used to havign no atmosphere.

I have two mates who worked on the building of the Stadium. Spurs fans. They have left some rather interesting writing somewhere

looked stunning.... sounded quiet.

Can see them struggling to fill it when the novelty has worn off.

staduim only as good as the fans. & as always it'll be quiet. looks the same as most new grounds. no indivduality etc ,

Sure it's impressive when you're there but just looks like any other new stadium. Stadium of light, Eastlands, etc.

Good view of the away fans on the telly though.

or they'll just change the pitch size

Like ours, their pitch at Highbury was undersized by FIFA & UEFA rules, so they won't have scope to change it by much.

Thing with Arsenals new stadium is also what they have done for the area. On Radio 4 recently it said they have helped add "affordable" housing/flats (Not expensive lush ones), Health Centres, several bridges, revamped station..... Done a lot for the area which was a "waste rail distribution centre" (A tip where the rubbish was removed by train I believe).
