DonRafa Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Had a bet on him to score first goal. A nice 20-1. Was going to bet on Rio Ferdinand jumping on his back afterwards but the 1,000-1 on didn't appeal to me.Gormless f***wit. Nice one.Thought StevieG was injured just now, but he's just winded, thankfully. He's looked very lively on the R.hand side. Set up a cracking chance for Crouchio, who should have scored really. Still, stupid fecking time to having friendlies, hope all our players come thru unscathed
Benitez Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Sofar, the way Gerrard is playing reminds me of how he used to play for us when GH was still 'ere, trying to do too much, and getting in other players way! Uwwww and Lampard scores.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Crouch after Lampard misses easy chance cause hes schite.
Gomez Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Struggling to monitor 3 games at the moment. I hear Gerrard is having a blinder. Though actually driving through the middle rather than on the right?
Bootle Buck Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Greece have been s****. However, a very positive performance from England which is a welcome change. Let's not get carried away though.
Benitez Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 all I care about is Crouchy scoring Where's Jermaine Defoe? Bout time he added to that 1 goal in 20 caps or whatever it is.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Usually standing in an offside position.
andyg Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Just think Crouch now has 8 goals in 12 games for England (6 of wich he came on as a sub)
Benitez Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 now Liverpool have to pay Coventry City more money for Kirkland
Sara Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 How this bunch of clowns won the Euro Championships is beyond me!
DonRafa Posted August 16, 2006 Author Posted August 16, 2006 now Liverpool have to pay Coventry City more money for Kirkland So generous, us scousers I have'nt kept up with Glassman's moves - did we sell him in the end?
Benitez Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 So generous, us scousers I have'nt kept up with Glassman's moves - did we sell him in the end? nope! He's on loan at Wigin for the season, but I think they have an option to buy. I guess the big question as always - can he stay fit long enough!
StevieC Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 nope! He's on loan at Wigin for the season, but I think they have an option to buy. I guess the big question as always - can he stay fit long enough! Well his price just went up seeing as he's now a full international.
Guest redmilky Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 a very positive performance from England which is a welcome change. Let's not get carried away though.I'll try and keep it together.
RP Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Good save that from Kirkland. He'll be off injured if he makes another.
Guest TanMan Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 His dad'll be happy tonight, £10k better off. My lad just asked why England look so much better tonight. I told him that if this was the WC Qtr final we'd be struggling. Sadly, this is the way England can really play, they just can't handle the pressure.
