Might he be back some day? He's a very imposing figure and had all the raw material to be an awesome goalkeeper. Maybe he'll get over his fragility and do a good job for us?

Kirkland probably wouldn't want to come back either. He'd be a 2nd choice keeper, and no footballer wants to spend a whole season on the bench when they have the option of being first choice at another premiership club.

I think Rafa loaned him so he'd get fit and play well so we can sell him.

No future with us I don't think. Never really thought he looked much good at Liverpool, injuries or not.

I think you'll find nobody wanted to buy him because of his injury record. A loan with a view to a permanent deal was the best we could hope for. Hope the lad stays fit & does well for Wigan.

Saw that, his positioning seems to be awful, he should never have let that in. Bad footwork too, his momentum was going the other way.

 

Didn't he slag off "Ocho"'s methods while at West Brom last year? Can't see him coming back
