5InIstanbul Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Four Iron in the Soul by Lawrence Donegan. Recomemmeded to me by another forumite and it is excellent. LD used to be the bass player for the Bluebells. He's now a journalist for the Guardian amongst others. He takes a year out to become a professional golf caddy on the European PGA tour and this is his story. It's about the bottom end of the professional golf world, sleeping on course in tents and camper vans etc as opposed to exec jets, million of £ at the other oend. A brilliant read and highly recommended.
