owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 the Premiership Years is on Sky at the moment and i've just seen Macmanaman scoring against the Mancs.. obviously it was a great goal etc but it brought back to me that i didn't really like Macmanaman a lot.. dunno what it was.. he just, well, kinda pissed me off.. there was something about him i didn't like.. any more you can think of? or am i just wrong?!
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Stan Collymore, Paul Ince and Neil Ruddock
Benitez Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 going back even further, Michael Robinson used to piss me off Dunno why, he just used to annoy me, never took to him at all!
Bigal Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Paul Ince, Jamie Redknapp (I never liked him, no idea why) and Oyvind Leonardsen which goal was this from Macmanaman? I loved that goal against newcastle he scored, on his chest, volleyed far stick. f***ing great goal
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 ahhhh man.. Leonardsen! yeah, he used to do me head in as well!
Rex Ham Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Steve Nicol. Great player, but those sticky out fingers when he ran just did my swede in!
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 which goal was this from Macmanaman?the 2nd in a 2-0 win.. 94/95 season i think this is when Blackburn won the league.. if you switch it on now you'll see the end of that when Blackburn lose at Anfield but win the league cos the Mancs can't beat West Ham(?)..
Bigal Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 the 2nd in a 2-0 win.. 94/95 season i think this is when Blackburn won the league.. if you switch it on now you'll see the end of that when Blackburn lose at Anfield but win the league cos the Mancs can't beat West Ham(?).. that goal was deflected as fook wasnt it?
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 not from where im sitting.. wonderful strike low into the corner like you've never seen.. in fact, come to think of it, all the goals against the Mancs are wonderful strikes such as that..
Bigal Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Aye, two of my favourite goals were the 2 that robbie scored at old trafford when we drew 2-2. The drive into the near stick when scheimcal thinks a cross is coming, and then the shoulder to get rid of neville and then chip the keeper. f***ing fantastic
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 that chip was fkin sublime.. Cantona's comeback game wasn't it?
Bigal Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 It was indeed, it was just the little bump in a "f*** off" way and then over the keeper. I remember that game was the first time I heard me dad say f***. They were going on and on and on about cantona and my dad just lost it and shouted "Just f*** off"
lawrie Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 just can't take to Crouch no matter how hard I try
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 aye.. that's how i remember too.. reading the papers the next day and i was like "hang on - did they not see Robbie's goals or somethin'?".. Mark Kennedy he was another that did me head in, good shout!
Dominus Maximus Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Ince Redknapp, Leonhardson, Riise (sometimes) Igor was ace though...
StevieC Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Gary Ablett, Paul Stewart, Paul Ince, Djimi Traore & Diouf, the top hat.
owenthomas Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 (edited) a friend of mine has just been asked to write an autobiography for some ex-player (i can't remember his name) - and he said similar about Jimmy Case.. EDIT: to clarify, the ex-player said Case was a beaut - not my mate.. Edited August 7, 2006 by owenthomas
