Hornets win s***tu chase

Watford have completed the signing of defender Danny s***tu from Queens Park Rangers for an initial fee of £1.6m, on a three-year deal.

The 25-year-old had looked to be heading for West Bromwich Albion, but the Nigerian international has signed for the Hornets in a deal that could rise to £3m.

Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd said: "In Danny we're signing another player who fits the Watford way, hungry to learn and to prove his worth at the very top level against the best.

 

"He is somebody we have been chasing for some time and I'm pleased he will now have the chance to fight for a place along with the other excellent centre-halves we have at the club."

 

s***tu has made over 180 appearances the Loftus Road outfit and was a firm favourite among supporters.
