That sounds incredibly strange, but I assume it was because of all the war games that were going on at the same time.

Would it not have made sense to stop any war games, including injecting false blips on radar, as asoon as they knew the first plane was hijacked?

I agree that most people had no idea what was happening, which supports the claims of fewer people required than most people seem to think. Now this is a tape I think most of us would really like to have heard...
