There was one nob head in the crowd wearing a burberry cap who ruined it for everyone by deciding to beat the guy with the stick.

DEATH TO ENGLAND

They should just ban all bald people.

I don't hear the bad stuff unless you think England til I die is bad.

I have that Polish hooligan video, it's boss.

Topic title is a bit misleading since it's shown German/Polish and Turk fans being just as bad, if not worse.

yes but no one on here are claiming the German and Turkish are changed people

"Id rather be a paki than a kraut"

Nazi saluts

ten german bombers

f***ing pricks

Cringeworthy TV, chair throwing, throwing beer over women, nicking flags off rival fans. Hooliganism at its worst

It was hilarious seeing that c*** front 1 Brazilian child with about a 100 English behind him then actually back off. s***houses the lot of them who would actually be the last people you'd want with you if you were about to have a fight.

Thought it was a good report, and showed both sides. In particular that one prick out of a 100 deciding to start attacking the Brazillians. I laughed when that fat Brazillian kid was dancing infront of them though and they were calling him a fat b*****d.

But they're all pricks, I guess.

The Few - Billy Bragg

At night the Baby Brotherhood and the Inter City Crew

Fill their pockets up with calling cards

And paint their faces red white and blue

Then they go out seeking different coloured faces

And anyone else that they can scare

And they salute the foes their fathers fought

By raising their right hands in the air

Oh look how my country's patriots are hunting down below

What do they know of England who only England know

From the stands of the Empire Stadium

Come the heralds of the New Dark Age

With the simplicities of bigotry

And to whom all the world's a stage

These little John Bulls***s know that the press

Will glorify their feats

So that the general public fear them

And the authorities say give 'em all seats

And the wasted seed of the bulldog breed

Is shouting here we go

What do they know of England who only England know

Our neighbours shake their heads

And take their valuables inside

While my countrymen piss in the fountains

To express our national pride

And to prove to the world that England

Is just as rotten as she looks

They repeat the lies that caught their eyes

At school in history books

But the wars they think they're fighting

Were all over long ago

What do they know of England who only England know

And the society that spawned them

Just cries out Who's to blame?

And then wraps itself in the Union Jack

And just carries on the same

Oh look out, my country's patriots are hunting down below

What do they know of England who only England know

It was sickening to watch and to think how these k**bheads can take over these events so easily. That bit where the England "fans" were on the steps (in Stuttgart i think) waiting for the German game to end on the big screen so that they could attack the German people sickened me no end. A little girl roaring crying on her dad's shoulder's 'cos these morons took over what must have promised to be a great day for her and now she's probably afraid to ever go to any event associated with football again.

lol we flew out on holiday the day of the first England game and there was a kid at the airport wearing one of these..

Heer-helmet.jpg although his had been painted (fully covered) with the St. Georges Cross...stooopid c*** I thought to myself.

Biggest bunch of bellends you're ever likely to see, especially that lad with the burberry cap who started moaning about the camera being there. It's still a minority though and not the best reason on its own not to support your country. Especially if you go and cheer on Spain or someone instead.

you are missing the point

we didnt have people on here claiming that german fans are all sweetness and light did we

of course the germans are as much to blame...nobody has said any different

just because the Germans embarrassed themselves doesnt detract from the English

But it seems on this board you barely ever hear both sides, it's EVIL ENGLAND FANS.

i think the fact that the majority commenting are from these isles, and I will say again....we were being told that england had fans had changed, you didnt hear racist songs and there was no violence...

i dont really know why you are trying to defend this

What am I defending? I'm saying that you'd think it was England fans only the way people go on. Minorities are bad, but everytime there is a report it's all England fans. Gets on me t*** when it happens on both sides.

But it was a BBC documentary, concentrating primarily on the cities in which the English fans based themselves and the difficulties they caused in those cities. It's main contributor was an English copper. A thread was started on the documentary, so it makes perfect sense that the criticisms are going to centre around the English fans.

It is holiganism, why dilute it and call it something else. Whether they're English, Irish, German or Brazilian, it's hooliganism mate, maybe by idiots but hooliganism nonetheless.

I don't think a programme about England's (or anyone else's) well behaved fans would muster much of an audience quite frankly.

I was in Lansdowne Road that infamous night of rioting. I was at the World Cup being charged down by 200 England fans for doig nothing else but wearing a green jersey. t***s mate, end of.

Oh I know they're t***s. The thing is, they aren't hooligans. Not by my definition. The police in this country did a good job stopping the REAL hooligans from going leaving only those Burberry apes mouthing off and going 100-1 mob-handed against any poor soul who happened to have the misfortune of not being born on Albion's shores. Morons, divs, bampots, call them what you will, they will never amount to anything more than wannabe-hooligans. We only cover them in (their definition of) glory by "elevating" them to hooligan status. 4th rate chavs from 5th rate towns for the most part. Starve them of the oxygen of publicity (or even real oxygen as far as I'm concerned-let's put them out of our misery) and watch them disappear.

i dont get this

so the fact that this happened should be ignored???

I forone didnt realise that alot of this went on, and I think Panorama did a good job in highlighting it.....

I have followed Liverpool all over Euroipe over the last 15 years in particular and scenes like that are NEVER seen...Yes we have scallies who may go releiving certain shops of there stock, we may have some drunken pricks who end up in isolated brawls, but I have never seen the 50 - 100 fans baying for trouble in the manner I saw last night, or people disrespecting the place and people of the area were were visiting, in fact quite the opposite

I know the VAST MAJORITY are well behaved, but it highlighted that England still have a problem.......they attract the worst type of chav idiot to follow them.

Another thing is, those ex hooligans dont help either....."Bring it on" f***ing d****ead

That guy from the England Supporters Groupl (Mark Perryman?) admitted that the problem still exists, yet when interviewed on the BBC after the tournament he said it was trouble free.......

the worst think people can do is to bury there head in the sands and claim it ha all gone away, like some on here do.......Unfortunatley the England Football Team attract the racists and xenaphobes to follow them...they are a tiny minority now, but enough to cause problems

Yes, it should be ignored.

The BEST thing to do is not give these morons TV time. What do the cameras do now when someone runs on the pitch or there is a streaker? They ignore them and that way, the divs get zero publicity. What we saw last night will provide justification to a lot of scum to think they can achieve some sort of yob notroriety by indulging in these moronic acts. Only when the s**** is flushed away do we have a clean toilet bowl, as Eric Cantona may have said and only when the good overwhelmingly outnumber the bad will these sad sacks take their infestation somewhere else.

Absolutely, and long may that remain so.

IMO.........

As someone who's supported the Dublin footballers I'm never impressed by this excuse that people use for not supporting the team that represents them geographically just because there's a drunken, violent, racist, obnoxious element that follows them that you don't want to be associated with.

I think the historicopoliticocultural excuses used hold more water, the sense some of ye have of not feeling "English", or the desire to feel more Liverpudlian than English -- an excellent badge of honour to earn indeed, don't get me wrong -- and I think the hooligan excuse is crowbarred in as unneeded back-up to flesh out an already convincing argument.

Racist Liverpool fans in their recent anecdotally reported renaissance are probably in the same minority as the real racist English hooligans who managed to get to the World Cup, and I say this with not a jot of evidence but to lead up to the next bit. But there's plenty of people who'd support Liverpool ALMOST no matter what the fans did, and equally there's plenty who'd NEVER support England even if they really had brilliant, witty, classy, well-behaved fans (not least because it would mean forsaking a bit of LFC sovereignty and opening themselves up to a connexion with these famous "small-time" clubs).

I was DYING for the English to bring proper full-scale old-skool shame on themselves over there and embarrass you all, as well -- that is as things should be -- but they didn't. Ah well.
