Guest PaulMcC Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Anyone been up to the ground or phoned today? Do you know what tickets are left? I can't go til tomorrow morning and hope i will still be able to get 2.
kop205 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 (edited) Got £30 ones this morning. There was very, very little left behind the goals ('Family Section' apparently - must do it differently for Charity Shiled cos I've always got there in the past) so mine are along the side. And a word of warning - Champions League tickets are on sale tomorrow so it could be busy. Edited August 2, 2006 by kop205
Guest PaulMcC Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I know, i'm going up to get them tomorrow as well.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Shouldn't be that busy, I'm going up about 10 for CL tickets.
jon_hall Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Not going, it's a friendly, got better things to spend time and money on. Or in my case, finally moving back to Liverpool and the footy can f*** off for a couple of weeks.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I might be able to get someone a ticket if they're willing to pick them up in Liverpool.
Guest TheGaffa Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I'd be happy to get a fan card, (or two if I had to - to get a 2nd ticket) but it's the FA cup final stub that's the problem. Are the tickets in enough demand that you can only buy a ticket still with 'stubs', or are there enough left that thy're on general sale, if you like. Basically, I haven't got a bloody clue (some of the Columbo's out there might have guessed this already)
Guest TheGaffa Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Ok, just seen this scanning through RAWK http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060803-1505.htm "Following the initial sale to Season Ticket and Fancard holders a further sale is now available: Season Ticket Holders and Fan Card holders who purchased ONE FA Cup Match during season 2005-06" Looks like it's a wait and see job to see if it goes on Gen sale.
clagy Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 (edited) now on sale to any fan card holders , just got mine for L2 Edited August 4, 2006 by clagy
Montse Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 OMG just got my first ticket to see Liverpool too in 20 yrs! Well made up, now how to get there!
stressederic Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 I wonder if they'll open this up to a general release at some point. It's been on fancard for a couple of days now and still seems to be a fair few tickets left.
Guest PaulMcC Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Is Row 10 a decent view of the game? I don't like being that low down in the Kop.
IgPig Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 I wonder if they'll open this up to a general release at some point. It's been on fancard for a couple of days now and still seems to be a fair few tickets left. Isn't it the same thing? I thought you had to have a fancard to get a ticket......
stressederic Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 (edited) Isn't it the same thing? I thought you had to have a fancard to get a ticket...... You need a fancard to buy online even during a general sale, but in a general sale you can get up to 4 tickets, whereas ordinarily it seems to be one ticket per fancard. I don't think you need a fancard to buy over the phone during a general sale. Edited August 7, 2006 by stressederic
stressederic Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 seems to contradict the purpose of the fancard.... There's an earlier release date usually for fancard holders, but again you can only get 1 ticket per fancard.
