Just listened to the Stone Roses for the first time ever

seriously, first time ever. Bought the complete story at dinner time, never listened to them before because of my childhood hatred of all things manc which when the stone roses where about was at its peak

 

Two questions

 

1) Mersey Paradise - what the f'ck is all that about
