he would be a great addition to the squad.

he can play in a few places in the defence and would add some pace.

a 3-5-2 with Carragher, Hyppia and Gallas at the back would be pretty hard to beat.

When did Gallas turn into a scumbag?

When he was first in line to get Reina sent off after the Robben incident last season. I think.

he went right down his my estimations when he did what he did at Fulham.... good player though, would love him at our place..

but we don't really need him. He's in my fantasy footy team though so he best not go abroad!

I'd have him, but it's the premiership he's had enough of as well as Chelsea

Player trying it on with the only "club" in the world, that could put him in the stiffs for a year and not worry.

I think he's got a point, it's not exactly equal treatment, Duff asks to go, there you go son, Parker, with our blessings, Drogba, you're going nowhere, Gallas, you're going nowhere. Yep there are rankks of importance, but it would piss me off, especially to play out of position

thats why he wants out of the Rent Boys tho.

He doesn't want to play at full back.

He is a very good player, but certainly not what we need! We have a very strong defence with good depth. Liverpool's money would be better spent elsewhere.

The important subplot here is how Mourinho and co.. are starting to NOT keep their core players happy.

Cracks have started to appear.

He's been asking for a move for at least 3 or 4 times during his career at Chelsea, the timing has always been conveniently close to contract renewal time...

Hope to god he goes abroad though, if not Arsenal might get him cheap and that would strengthen them stupidly much, from having to use Senderos & Djourou(or whatever his name is) to using Toure-Gallas, which would be one of the best CB pair's in the prem, if not the very best..

He comes across in this incident as a spoilt brat who has no respect for his employer, his manager and team-mates.

Any employee would be expected to report back to work on time after a holiday. If Lampard, Shevchenko, Ballack and the rest can make it, why can't he?

If he has reason to be late, then the least he could do is inform his boss. In this case, Gallas, by all accounts, didn't even bother to give Mourihno a call.

Even if we needed another defender (which I don't think we do), I hope we don't bring in someone so unprofessional.

good on him

Better time to ask for a move than a few months after re-signing imo. I dont want to sign a new deal and would like to leave seemed to be fine for Duff and a few others. They chucked a load of money at him last time, this time he seems dead set on it

I seem to recall hearing terry-Gallas only conceded 2 in 21 games together at one point last season.

Don't they only play the lesser games together?
