Guest JV Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 That Peltier kid has been very good so far Yep, him and Paletta have done well.
McBain Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Paletta looks the business already feckin s*** game though
DonRafa Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 LOL at the commentator trying hard to revive the 'Gerrard is unsettled' saga - twunt!
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 (edited) free kick in decent positionanderson to take it..easily headed away unchallenged and then a volley from zenden who curls it the wrong way of the post paletta definately seems the no nonsence type of defender and has been quite good, although he was caught for pace aswell as peltier a few moments ago.. Guest Cardie Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Wouldn't expect much from this game, they have Jurgen Macho in goal. He's about 60 for 0 on shots to goals against us isn't he?
Guest JV Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 lines woman is not bad i'm looking forward to seeing Pennant
Spion kop Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 palleta has impressed along with peltier anderson has done well but needs refining, Hobbs looks heavy on his feet to me.
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 (edited) hyypia with a half volley just wide decent delivery from anderson Eurosport caption... "Sami Nyypia". Edited July 29, 2006 by LFCNeil90
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 half time is 0-0Paletta's been the best player so far The game needs a bit of MOMO
Guest Jack Bauer Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I wanna see Momo come on and go mental like its a proper game.
DonRafa Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Paletta the destroyer Our future ROCK in defence once Sami calls it a day Really like what I've seen of him so far - be interesting to see how he gets on in 'real' matches
Cisse Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Half time player ratings (expect to see at leat half the team shifted 2nd half): Paletta 9. Awesome, the new Ayala, bargain...Peltier 7. Glimpses of something exciting.Zenden, Hyypia 6Others 5 Hobbs makes Hyypia look small and he's 17
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Pennant and Riise are kitted out for the 2nd half but Momo's still in training gear
Gomez Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Pretty poor coverage, but better than nothing I suppose. I'm having difficulty identifying the players as the cameraman seems more intent on capturing the mountainout vista rather than the match, hence tiny wee players, specially on the far side. The commentators aren't helping, though they are clearly watching it in a studio rather than being at the match, so they probably can't tell either. But they seem to want to talk about any randon thing other than the match, at one point trying to make out Gerrard would be envious of the chavs signing chavshenko. Why single him out of every none chelsea player in the premiership I don't know. Zenden and Palletta have been OK, Peltier, not bad, though that just might be because he's near the camera. Hard to really comment on the rest. Interesting stat came up when they were again not talking about the match. Liverpool had the best defensive record when defending set peices in the premiership. Though I hear charlie nicholas is still not 100% convinced with zonal marking.
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 auerlio must have come on for hyypia with traore centre back, riise on the left and aurelio the winger. pennant's on for anderson i think too
LFCNeil90 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 christ what a strike from bellamy hits the bar and bounces out, actually after the replays i think it did go in finnan is also on
