Aye what Spike says mate, GF's kids will probably know you arent to keen on them you should try to get to know them better so there aint any arkwardness.

The 3 weeks will fly over and your kids will be back. As for not seeing your gran kids, of course you will as soon as your kids grow up they will be able to come and see you as much as they want.
