Just got their latest album today.

 

What a belter! True, true Punk Rock n'Roll with plenty of 'Noo Yawk' swagger. I swear, they manage to out-Stones, the Stones - and I'm talking 'vintage' here. Nary a flat track on the whole CD and some amusing lyrical nuggetts from David Johanssen. ("I'm not an artist, I'm a singing, dancing work of art" ).

 

The touch of Michael Stipe is evident here and there, but only adds to the whole. In all, a perfect antidote to mewling home-counties Quentins with guitars. Rock n' Roll as it should be; loud, brash and written by the devil. 9/10.
