got jailed

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/5214446.stm

A man who threw eggs containing purple paint onto the 18th green during the Open golf championship has been jailed.

Paul Addison, 40, from Newcastle upon Tyne and Stephen Fletcher, 35, of Sunderland, both pleaded guilty to five counts of criminal damage.

Wirral magistrates jailed Addison for eight weeks and Fletcher was given 150 hours of community service.

Pressure group Real Fathers 4 Justice claimed responsibility for throwing the eggs onto the Royal Liverpool course.

The paint-filled eggs broke open as eventual winner Tiger Woods was preparing to chip on to the green at the Hoylake course on Sunday.

Addison, from Nelson Street, and Fletcher, from Rutherford Square, were sentenced on Tuesday.
