Why do you say that? I live in London (for my sins ;) ) and I find the Gooners to generally be the most reasonable of the footie fans down here. They seem pretty genuine to me.

In my experience, the Spurs lot are the most annoying by far - moan, whine, moan, whine, whine! :wacko:

Got to start somewhere.

 

By all accounts they've designed it with a lot of consideration to their history: nearby location, still at Arsenal tube station, got a clock end and the pitch has a similar camber.

I was talking about the Emirates Stadium - or are you saying that Arsenal have won 13 League titles, 10 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 ECWC, 1 Fairs Cup, 2 League Cups, 11 Charity Shields in that Ground?!

 

If so

 

a) What drugs are you on

 

and

 

b) When did they manage that ?!

 

Was there a magical gap year in the Premiership while the world cup was on?

 

Are the Mancs up to 17 European cups as well?

OK, didn't realise you were talking just about the stadium

 

Obviously it has no history, as it is new....

 

I am not going to judge its "character" (surely a euphemism for history, anyway?) until I have been there - but it looked very impressive from the outside. I'm looking forward to a visit, but I shall miss Highbury as I thought that was a nice old place

the comments just go on and on.Make no mistake this is the future for the new anfield ,it will be no different ,no more special ,and no more distinctive. People are obsessed these days with how everything looks ,if it doesn't look good ,shiny and brand new then it must be s**** like.Even in the golf at hoylake loads of people complaining about the grass not being f***ing green ,so f***ing what ?

 

I have loved the descriptions about wembley in particular the most overpriced stadium ,the epitome of what is wrong with football ,the f***** isn't even finished yet and they advertise it by saying how much leg room you have to sit down .

 

basically sit down ,shut the f*** up and pay up is the motto.

and I dont understand how people who go to Anfield week in week out can just accept this as "progress".....too much of me has gone on for me to willingly accept moving from Anfield

 

I speant day after day in the after match of Hillsborough, from 1st think in the morning until last thing at night, sat on the concrete terrace where me and my mate used to stand, trying to accept the fact that he was never coming back.....

 

It took alot for me to acceot the old standing Kop was never coming back, never mind not playing there ever again.....

Completely accept that, but you're lucky you can go to every match. A new place would enable me to have a chance at a season ticket and not fight for scraps.

 

But the more I see the Reeboks, Emirates of this world, the more I wonder.....the only new place I like is the Allianz Arena. I worry from our plans the new place is a bit sterile.

As our rivals go they're the only ones I quite like. And yeah Henry is my favourite non liverpool player. If he played for us my love of him would be at dangerous levels
