Feel a bit sorry for Diao. He's not that bad a player, regardless of the abuse he gets from fans using him as a scapegoat for the madness of Houllier. He's never really got a good run in the side and chance to prove himself and has just lost all confidence.

 

It's a pity Rafa couldn't worked with him on a personal level and got more out of him, as we need cover in that holding midfield position.
