How to feel old.

Reading a trade magazine and coming across an article that follows a lead underwriter in EPL (that?s real EPL ? Employers Practices Liability) in Lloyds.

 

Did a double take at the picture ? I know the guy ? used to work with him. He worked for the same company as me during his summer holidays when he was an art student and then went on to work full time there. Been out for many a beer with him and I?ve know his wife for donkeys years. How the f*** that boozer ended up as an underwriter I?ll never know!

 

Then It struck me ? I was working with his bloody mother for years before he turned up for work.

 

I feel feckin old now.
