Herbie von Smalls Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 just when you thought standards couldn't get much lower...http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5197582.stm Singer Charlotte Church will play pranks on the public in her new TV show - including entering a talent show as a tribute to herself. The show will mix celebrity guests, comedy sketches and hidden camera stunts - seeing Church taking to the streets to fool members of the public. "I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I enjoy making it," the star, 20, said. The All New Charlotte Church Show starts in August on Channel 4. 'Exciting talent' Church's celebrity guests will join in the comedy skits. Executive producer Will Macdonald said: "Charlotte is great. She's funny, charming and smart and about the most natural all-round talent in this country. And she's still only 20." Channel 4 head of entertainment and comedy Andrew Newman added: "Charlotte Church is such an exciting talent and while she is one of the biggest stars in the country, she remains almost completely unaffected by it." The Welsh performer first revealed her talents as a TV presenter when she guest hosted Have I Got News For You at the age of 17. Earlier this year the singer was nominated in the best British female category at the Brit Awards. wasn't will mcdonald chris evans' lackey a number of years back?
