Wrexham 3-3 Manchester City

An own goal from Manchester City captain Sylvain Distin gave Wrexham a creditable draw at the Racecourse.

Ishmael Miller gave City an early lead only for Chris Llewellyn to equalise with a stylish volley before the break.

 

Georgios Samaras restored the visitors' lead with a deflected shot, but Matty Done brought Wrexham level again.

 

Samaras added a second but Distain's sliced clearance meant new signings Dietmar Hamann and Paul Dickov had to settle for a draw on their City debuts.

I think he's really settled in the NW.

When a player has been at a club a long time, moving is not just about him. His family will have put roots down, his children settled at school, with friends they've grown up with, etc.
