we played the Danish national team at Anfield, ;ate 80's

 

All I remember is that there team was sponsored by a cow and they had a s*** kit

 

cant remember why we played them..it was midweek I think

We'd also faced a Denmark Select XI in Holbæk on 30th July the year before, to commemorate the town's 700th anniversary. Barry Venison played his first reds game in this match
