Great result. Niklas Alexandersson was going on about how the second leg would be a holiday for the IFK boys as they'd have things wrapped up after last night. From what I've read Derry deserved their win.

In the last two years Cork City have beaten reigning Swedish champions DIF last year and MFF the year before. Alexandersson obvioously is hard of learning.

Oh, and Llanelli beat Gefle away from home last night also!

Drogheda had a decent result last night too, a 1-1 draw away at Helsinki. some good results for the Irish sides last night. i think the summer football has really helped them in European competition

Can't forget about Cork City's 1-0 win against the Cypriot champions on Wednesday night. Cracking goal from Billy Woods.

Great results alright but they are coming at a cost. Shels and Cork are in serious financial trouble as are most of the clubs in the league.

They hit the bar too.

Isn't Ireland's seeding up now as a result?

Swedish football really has gone down the tube

And still England hasn't beaten them since the bronze age.
