Is this about his BBC punditry or have you other issues with the guy? Thought he broke up the annoying consensus and bias on the BBC panel quite well when he was on. Hearing him rant towards Desailly was funny "I don't care how many World Cups you've won or how many Champions League medals you've got... but you're wrong!".

Seems to be one of the nicest guys in football. A very good motivational manager who knows how to get the most out of a limited bunch of footballers. Articulate and well informed. Excellent pundit.

 

This thread on the other hand offers as much insight as Ian Wright.

I was neutral to Andy until some people started saying that he might be sensible.

 

I find him to be dull and although obviously knowledgable about starting polls - I don't think he has the required personality for a big forum like YNWA.

 

I don't think he's been particularly successful as a poster and wouldn't want him at the reins here.

 

Whether he is a top poster or not is neither here nor there as the majority of posters are beyond woeful - I personally find him poor as one as well - not sure why the mods always seems to get it totally wrong when registering posters - they are either jack the lad or as dull as dishwater - there must be a few interesting posters out there with worthwile points to make in an interesting manner.

 

Maybe Irish people generally aren't up to the task? Although I think Des is still the best out there.

Decent on the telly and an intelligent guy who comically can go on a rant and forget where he started, but ok for all that.
