Figaro Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Gossip. Torres has finally said "Yes". They now have to agree a price with Atletico Madrid. Roberto Carlos has told Capello that he is going to Chelsea. Rijkaard is trying to get Thurnam on a free. Casillas says he knows nothing about any interest from the Mancs. Inside Madrid they are saying that the offer is 45 million ? with incentives and appearance fees taking the full figure up to 60 million ?. Portsmouth have made a 6 million ? offer for Betis' brazilian Edu. Arsenal, Newcastle and Bolton have confirmed offers over here for out of favour Saviola. Sevilla CF are chasing Tevez, but I didn't say that Joaquin is desperately trying to find someone to buy him - the price 27 million ?. If Madrid don't sign anyone "big" then they'll move in for Joaquin with some players, possibly Gravesen or Pablo Garcia going to Betis in a cash plus player exchange.

Stevie H Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 There was loads in the news about it anyway ah fair enough. didn't realise that. mancs have been strangely quiet in the transfer market so far.
Benitez Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 that Casillas story is utter nonsense. And I can't believe someone can type that stuff believing for a second it's true. Naive.
Coyler Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Are they going to keep van der Saar until he dies of old age? Edited July 12, 2006 by Coyler
Benitez Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Are they going to keep van der Sar until he dies of old age? Even dead he'd be a better goalie than Howard, Carroll, Taibi, Bosnich and Ricardo.
