RBM Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Maybe he couldn't face Fat head Sam constant whinging to press so did everybody a favour
Sion Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 (edited) Quote Bizarre Especially as Fat Sam is quoted on icliverpool as having missed out. Edited July 11, 2006 by Sion
downunder Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 maybe the official site has it wrong!!!! That would be amusing....... And maybe a pie-eater did get the job and has messed up on day 1
Gilps Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 What happened there then? Very odd. Oh well, goodbye and good luck Didi. Thanks for everything.
Flasher Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Maybe Big Sam is leaving? And Small Sam replacing him?
Boca Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 WTF ?? Strange u-turn by Didi. Maybe the lawyers got to him.
Gilps Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Nothing on Bolton's site, but as tey seem to think England are still two games from the final it can be assumed news isn't getting through to them very quickly.
Guest carlin Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 That man is a true Liverpool legend - didn't want to see him at Bolton, but the best of luck to the Kaiser - wir werden dich vermissen!! YNWA Didi Hamann
Guest prudent Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 (edited) I read that the fee Bolton is supposed to pay is around 500.000 pound. Is that correct? If so, that would be a good deal from our side (economical that is) Edited July 11, 2006 by prudent

honourablegeorge Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Terrible shame. He's too f***in' good for that shower.
Koller49 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 That's a shame. Wouldn't of minded him just running out his career here. There is no doubt he can still do a job.

McBain Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 (edited) Looks like he was just using Man City to get a better deal out of Fat Sam Farewell Didi. You're a legend and you're guaranteed a fantastic reception next time you play at Anfield. Though not so much at The City of Manchester Stadium Edited July 11, 2006 by Mcbain
Leo No.8 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Like the idea of him getting a fantastic reception back at Anfield though. Good luck Didi, as has been pretty much agreed unanimously since it became clear you'd be leaving, you go as an absolute legend amongst the fans. I'd say he leaves as a 'cult hero', but he's simply been too good a footballer to be called that and grouped in with the Erik Meijers and the like. So I'll stick with him leaving as a hero if in his own funny, slightly uncoordinated way. Showed courage in battle enough times to deserve that title, always giving his finest performances against the best sides and stepping up to take crucial penalties with aplomb. YNWA Didi, and danke!
JRC Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 He'll have an easy time at Bolton, apart from the crick in his neck as the ball passes over.
Guest jjasonuk Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Didi, you are a Liverpool FC legend, Thank you. How many players have won what you have, not many. He will always be regarded as 'former Liverpool player and European Cup Winner' Didi Hamman
