A new angle on the Serie A scandal

Could we be looking at something far bigger than a simple stint in the lower divisions for 1 or 2 of the 4 possible relegation candidates?

as far as I know, when a team gets relegated in Italy the highest non promoted team in division below simply replaces them. What would happen if all 4 italian teams go into the Serie B?

the season after there will only be 2 or 3 promotion places into the seria A ... so effectively someone or maybe more will miss out and stay in the lower league for yet another season...

Juve if you ask me are the team with the biggest problems... They are, like milan a big club with lots of players on high wages... however the one thing they dont have is a local fan base... they actually dont get many fans to their home games... Juve are a team that has many many supporters outside of thier hometown... Livorno hold the majority of turins support.

it's true that the financial situation is going to cause any relegated team problems but I see Juve possibly going bankrupt if they fail to resurface in the Seria A in a years time...

Have they been relegated yet? I thought the verdicts were meant to be announced today?

no I dont think the verdict has been announced but it could come any time soon... I think it will be in a few days.. they will try and get it sorted asap cause any apeals will have to be dealt with before the end of this month as UEFA need to know who Italy are putting forward for the champions league adn UEFA cup places.

If the verdict goes as it should then it won't be an issue.

Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina will go into Serie B and Juve Serie C so by the time Juve hit B the other three should be back in A.

The only problem will be if Juve don't go to C which i can't see happening.
