Looked like a penalty in real time but in the slow-mo, you can tell Malouda makes the most of it. Klinsmannesque flick of the legs as he falls.

I know it's a world cup final, but nobody's gonna get close to achieving what Ronaldo has done in terms of diving, so why don't they just play nice?

 

Must admit I wasn't even watching closely enough to see Maluda dive over thin air. Doesn't surprise me though. That Guardian add for their world cup guide - showing teams practicing their diving - has been absolutely spot on. It really has become an art form.
