smell of incense - southwest f.o.b. - beautifully textured, organ-led psychedelic pop.

aha shake heartbreak - kings of leon - first listen in a while and it hasn't diminished over time.

thanks i'll eat it here - lowell george - classy MOR (light) rock. easy on the ear, but plenty of charm

broken boy soldiers - the rac***eurs - inoffensive. not enough substance to match the style. bet they kick ass live, which suggests this may be a little over-produced.
