I didn't believe this first time it happened

One of the 'dads' got the hump last year because we signed a few new players and his lad was sub/subbed a couple of times. He had a chat with me and asked me who the new kids were, 'where were they when the team wasn't doing well?' but the one that made me sit up was when he spat out with venom 'and who the hell is this kid Elliott'?

Now Elliott has since left but he was a bit of a phenomonon, a boy in a mans body, 6'2" built like a brick sh*house, BTW the 6'2" that excludes his AFRO haircut. He was shy in the extreme, painfully so and this guy looked down his nose. Fortunately the kids dad didn't notice

I had my suspicions but to be fair racism is so very rare in local football these days I thought no more of it although the guy is of 'my generation' where racism was more rife 25 years ago however.

I get a one line e-mail yesterday telling me his lad has left the club.

That's it. I e-mail him back wishing his son well but asking if hhe's upset in any way.

'You've told him he has to play right back (complete bollocccks) because some 'new kid' has taken his place on the right wing'.

The guy is NOT a football man. You can tell this immediately, we don't play a right winger and his son is a midfield player, perhaps somebody should have explained.

The new kid' is feckin brilliant, everybody is happy to spend some time on the bench to accomodate him, he's a lovely lad, highly intelligent with a big 'Rep', he plays like Jari Litmenan.

Guess what colour he is...
