CarraLegend Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 According to the Beeb. I wonder where he could be going?
_00_deathscar Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 REal Madrid. Is that also a hint about Juve's position?
CarraLegend Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 REal Madrid. Is that also a hint about Juve's position? Could do, Capello has been nailed on for their for ages though by all accounts. Well according to that Calderon bloke who was promising to get him anyway.
Figaro Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Sign, sealed and delivered. ¡Alla Fabio! he always said it would depend on what was going to happen to the Italian clubs - this means things look bad...
Leo No.8 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 (edited) I love Capello - absolute legend. Incredible managerial career, second to none amongst the current managers in Europe. Winning the title with Milan, Roma and Juve, winning the European Cup, going a full season at Milan without losing, La Liga with Madrid, he really is the complete manager, astute in the transfer market and a great man manager as well. Regardless of all that though, the reason I like the guy so much is down to when Gerard made his comeback. When to everyone's surprise a gaunt, smiling Houllier emerged from the tunnel just before kick-off to a tumultuous welcome, he must have been thinking 'oh crap that really puts the cat amongst the pigeons'; I know I would have. You wouldn't think it though; Capello had a huge smile on his face, and looking genuinely made up he went up to Gerard and gave him a big bear hug. Brilliant. He also spoke really highly of us and the atmosphere at Anfield afterwards, and of how happy he was to see Gerard back on the touchline. Top man - huge respect for him. If anyone can sort Madrid out its Fabio Capello... Edited July 4, 2006 by Leo No.8
Guest Jack Bauer Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Well I guess this means Real won't be beating us any time soon.
