I'd love Zidane to win it. For a player as great as he's been, it'd be fantastic to see his final act in professional football is lifting the World Cup.

I'd like Germany to win it. They have put in a huge effort to stage a successful World Cup. In particular, they have really gone out of their way to make it a pleasant experience for visiting supporters from around the world. Liverpool fans will remember the excellent German hospitality at the UEFA Cup Final.

 

I particulaly don't want Portugal to win it - I loathe their version of the game of football which involves feigning injury whenever an opposition player goes anywhere near them. They spend so much time conning the ref, you don't get to see much football played when Portugal are involved. It's not sour grapes, I always hate it when Liverpool draw a Portuguese side in European competition. I have to say that Benfica are by no means the worst of them.

 

Actually I think France will beat Portugal - they did not have much to offer in the way of football against England, and it was mainly due to poor tactics, and Erikson's reluctance to drop under-performing "stars" like Lampard, that we didn't beat them in the 90 minutes.
