He's magnificent. At his peak it was impossible for the opposition to take the ball off him, and yesterday he's shown that he's still got it.

Zidane is like a footballing ninja, the way he uses a challenge on him to his advantage is unlike no other player i have ever seen. to operate so imaculately in a confined space and to turn force against him to his benefit is incredible. Watching the way he rolls around two players trying to sandwich him by purposely bouncing of each of them and using their momentum to take them out of the game is like watching a martial arts expert. genius.

Was a bit like watching a Dad joining in a kids game at times. Class, and he seemed to enjoy it more than any other player in the World Cup so far also.

The guy is a legend, and i think enough so to make me want the french to win now. As long as Mr Arrogant Henry can't lay too much claim to the win then i won't mind seeing this man lift the world cup as his final act on a football pitch. Who has ever done that before?

Actually, Zidane's performance so far in this tournament reminded me of Pete Sampras in his last ever US Open before he retired. Looked past it leading up to the World Cup but suddenly turns on the kind of magic that only he is capable of. A real legend and will be missed.
