ManxRed Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 What's the smack with yellow cards in this match? If you get three you're sent off. No, hang on....
Stevie H Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 argies have swapped saviola for the more robust tevez then? interesting.
Redwire Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 What's the smack with yellow cards in this match? Heinze, Sorin and Frings are on a yellow.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 whatever happened with Lehmann & the Adidas vs Nike gloves thing?
Stevie H Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 whatever happened with Lehmann & the Adidas vs Nike gloves thing? he wears one of each.
Walrus Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 About time they dropped Saviola. I personally would have played Messi instead of Tevez, mind.
Ripley Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Come on Lubos. Another fair game and the final is yours
Lee W Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Good stuff from FIFA. Both captains reading anti-racism speeches before the game. England to meet the winners in the final.
RafaShanks Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 I can see some sending offs today. What a chance wasted by Ballack.
Rich Gobey Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 any idea where this match can be viewed on the internet?
BDB Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Sensible refereeing so far.Cagy match, that header of Ballack's was the best chance of the game so far.
Walrus Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Argentina missing Saviola's pace.Messi will run rings around the German defense in the 2nd half...
Bootle Buck Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 The Germans not being allowed to get into the tempo they have shown in previous games. Which is understandable considering the quality of the opposition. The Argies don't have any cynical hardmen in their team as they have in previous WC's. Usually they would always have someone sent off.
Walrus Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 This is the first real match that the Germans have played in the competition to be fair.
Lee W Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 (edited) Masterclass in possession football by the Argentines, without the cutting edge (yet !) Both defences playing very deep. Edited June 30, 2006 by Lee W
Molby Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 (edited) Ayala!! who else, from a corner? Edited June 30, 2006 by Molby
