Stevie H Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Think its impressive how Ronaldinho has so far managed to avoid any criticism or stick for being generally anonymous in every game. At least the fat man has scored 3. it's not ronaldinho's fault he's being asked to play as a water carrying midfielder though. i think you'll see a change in brasil next round. can see them dropping adriano and pushing ronaldinho further up top and making the midfield sturdier.
stressederic Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 s*** system not getting anywhere near the best out of him. it's not ronaldinho's fault he's being asked to play as a water carrying midfielder though. i think you'll see a change in brasil next round. can see them dropping adriano and pushing ronaldinho further up top and making the midfield sturdier. Oh I agree, he's being criminally underused, but then so is Gerrard and he never seems to be given any leeway about it. Oh and you're right, Adriano is w***.
Hassony Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 s*** system not getting anywhere near the best out of him.NEVER seen him play well.I Used to rate him when he played in germany it's not ronaldinho's fault he's being asked to play as a water carrying midfielder though. i think you'll see a change in brasil next round. can see them dropping adriano and pushing ronaldinho further up top and making the midfield sturdier.not going to happen

Supposedly that's what the press/ public in Brazil has been calling for as well. Get rid of Adriano, push Ronaldinho further up and allow him and Ronaldo to run (ok, walk) riot.
Stevie H Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 I Used to rate him when he played in germanynot going to happen we'll see.
Eiler99 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Heard a commentator say that Dida is very unpopular in Brazil. Anyone know why?
Jiggy Hates Jazz Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Think its impressive how Ronaldinho has so far managed to avoid any criticism or stick for being generally anonymous in every game. From what I've seen, he usually has three defenders on him as soon as he receives the ball and even then, much of the time, he manages to walk it out of situation.
Gilps Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 It is bloody stupid that Juninho misses out by them playing this lump alongside the fat one up front. Dropping one would bring a better balance. But, depite Adriano being rubbish, fat onnie being fat, Ronaldinho underperforming/being wasted, Ze Roberto being out of position, Emerson stealing a living, Roberto Carlos being way past his best and having a ropey defence - they're in the quarter finals. A semi final line up of Brazil, England, Italy and Germany would piss off a lot of people. Heard a commentator say that Dida is very unpopular in Brazil. Anyone know why? He's bloody rubbish as well. Or at least has been since we broke him in Istanbul.
jimmylibel Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) A semi final line up of Brazil, England, Italy and Germany would piss off a lot of people. I think I'd be at the top of that queue. Actually having said that I would probably prefer Brazil and Italy to get there, but the other two making the semis would really annoy me. Unfortunately I expect England will do just that. intense enigma Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 not going to happen Hello Parreira, it's a pleasure having you here
madaboutlfc Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I think they need to drop Adriano and bring robinho.. if it were me id drop ze roberto and bring in juninho.. is cicinho in the squad
rocz189 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Adriano = Brazillian Ade Akinbyi as bad as he's been, that's one hell of an insult!
Ombudsam Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 How hard is it to kick it once with your right foot you overrated nobhead? That's why he had to dive for that penalty because he's always going to his left. Can't see what people rate about him. Bloody carthorse who's decent in the air for a Brazilian centre forward in this day and age. Emerson's s**** as well. He offers nothing. Been saying this about him for ages
berdoing Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 A semi final line up of Brazil, England, Italy and Germany would piss off a lot of people. Wouldn't piss me off, that was my projected semi-final line-up about three months ago!
D.Boon Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 And yet his goal scoring record is very impressive............. From 2004 to present with Internazionale- 46 games, 25 goals 2000to present with Brazil -35games, 25 goals
Leo No.8 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 (edited) He's got nothing on Ibrahimovic in the over-rated stakes. At least Adriano has a goalscoring record to back him up, even if he does seem to be awful most of the time. Ibrahimovic is crap and doesn't score goals either, yet people seem to think he's one of the best strikers in the world. Agree on Emerson - he's just a very average defensive midfielder who is extremely fortunate to have played in the teams he has. I'd rather have Didi... Edited June 30, 2006 by Leo No.8

Martin O'Neill has been continually having a pop at Zlatan, saying that Larson has been carrying him for years.
