After playing 5-a-side last night, a couple of us were talking about the WC. One of the guys said that, despite Radio 5 & the likes of being blocked in the US over the web - for live footy commentary - you can get it in the rag's website.

 

Another of the guys, who works for ESPN as an advertising/legal advisor, said this is completely illegal & it could find itself with a whopping fine - if the right people ever found out :hmm: - as it's treading on toes & going against whatever agreements are in place. He also added, that because it didn't encroach on his field, he wasn't getting involved.

 

A nice little seed was planted in my head though.

I've told espn that I should be doing thier job - no contact yet...

 

and some wierd force overtook me this morning and I accidentally emailed xm radio, who have exclusive radio righs in the USA to the world cup, and informed them that a certain newspaper were broadcasting matches in the usa.

 

am I a grass?
