Earl Hafler Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) 19-10 on the Ukraine this afternoon. Like taking candy from a baby. Edited June 26, 2006 by Big Stuff
SkippyjonJones Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 woohoo. waphael wicky is playing!! best name of the world cup. Pythonesque!! whats happening? no cards?
BDB Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Sensible reffing so far.. I think that if a player goes down a tackle and over exaggerates they should be kept off the pitch for 3 mins. no swan dives, no triple axel somersaults. Both the swiss and ukrainians are so far jumping up after tackles, no rolling. admirable. Schevchenko with a good effort there off the crossbar, from a setpiece, he headed it down, and it bounced up off the crossbar. What a free kick from Frei.. off the bar. So far this is a pretty exciting game, free flowing, and good football.
BDB Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 sub for swiss. djourou off for grichting, a new defender to mark Schevchenko.
Bailo Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Hello ladies! Highlight of the half those Swedish lasses.
smithdown Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Sensible reffing so far.. Come on ref spice it up lad
Gunga Din Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 19-10 on the Ukraine this afternoon. Like taking candy from a baby. TBH, i really fancy the Swiss for this one, but hey, who am i to differ from the Tipster General that is Big Stuff its a shockingly poor game though
Guest Sabre Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Leonardo is a genius After BBC show those two Swedish birds, someone says, "They look decent up front." Leonardo chips in with, "All they need now is a Brazilian!" Ace
Guest Jack Bauer Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 That's how bad this match is, the BBC have to resort to showing men kissing.
BDB Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 ukraine lad had the swiss guy in a headlock, well defended by magnin. Should we just do penalties, swiss are too neutral the ukraine kit is one of the worst I have seen. And we're into Extra Time here.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Is this the first match thread which hasn't got over one page by the end of the 90 minutes?
Benitez Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Shevchenko will be looking forward to the penalty shoot out.
Guest Red Mist Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 It's boring as hell but at least it's got a bit of flow to the game and not constant stoppages for fake injuries, like we saw with those bitches from Portugal.

Guest Red Mist Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 You're a lovely guy. Thanks but you're not my type.
nvdm Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Silent Hair gives a few of the others a run for 'name of the tournament'.
BDB Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 the players in this match for the most part have jumped up after injuries. nice play there by barnetta.
Benitez Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 You're a lovely guy. at least you knew he was a guy. Up until a few months ago, I always thought Mad Misty was a bird
