Guest TanMan Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) They played their first friendly yesterday, losing 5-3 (although our goalie in the first half had no kneecaps and in the 2nd half we 'won' 2-1). I got collared by the guy who organised it and he says they need four parents to form a committee in order for it to work. My lad played in goal and reminded me of Sly Stallone in The Great Escape So. What are those four roles, which should I volunteer for and which should I avoid like mad. I'd like the challenge of working as a fitness coach with them, it'd give me the chance to get fitter aswell and I can spare time after school a couple of days a week. Another thing, the ref was pants. He gave a free kick for a passback against them but we had to take the free kick from where the defender made the back pass not where the goalie picked it up. It would've been from within the six yard box but ended up being 20yds out - way out of reach for 16yr olds. Edited June 26, 2006 by TanMan
