downunder Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo are among the favourites to win FIFA's Gillette Best Young Player Award at the World Cup. Both players have helped their countries qualify for the knock-out stages of the tournament and have impressed along the way. I obviously missed the Rooney moments of magic......
RBM Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 He went all day without eating something deep fried. It was more "Blaine" type performance then "MAGIC"
Kahnee Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I'm sure David Dein will pull a few strings and he ends up with the award! Quite right too. Best looking girlfriend in the squad
Scally Bob Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Are these the same whoppers who voted Lumplard second-best player in the world?
R A Softlad Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Asamoah Gyan has played well sofar! Although I have my doubts he's really only 21 He's from africa so think of a number between 13 and 14 and double it.
Mad_Fer_It Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 is it only me who has thought messi has been crap??? both him and robben have f***ed their teams over by not being able to give a simple pass or in robbens case to simply pass the ball... messi was s*** against holland, hope he learns from that match... he wasnt a team player
